Sophia is a gentle little soul looking for a soft place to land and spend her golden years. At 12 years young, don't let her age fool you, this sweet girl still has plenty of pep in her step and a whole lot of love to give! She'll follow you around like your shadow if she thinks you have food and when it's time to relax, she'll curl up on the couch with you or hang out in a cozy dog bed. She is the happiest when curled up next to her person and enjoying quiet moments, soaking up all the affection she can get.

Sweet Sophia also enjoys lounging with you outside, joining in for a walk, or her favorite activity- monitoring you while you eat. She just wants to ensure you don't need help cleaning up. In typical Shih Tzu fashion, she's an absolute love bug who has so much love to share with her people! She gets along great with other dogs big and small and even does well with dog savvy kitties!

Sophia joins us from the Bradshaw Animal Shelter after she was picked up as a stray. The shelter thought she would do best in a senior focused rescue to help her land in the most amazing forever family.
