Friendly with everyone she meets, she's ready to spend her golden years as your loyal companion.

She adores flopping into your lap and gazing up at her favorite person with the most loving eyes. She just wishes to be pet and cuddled as much as you can share, and she'd love nothing more than to shadow you around the house or yard throughout the day. But Cocoa is also very independent, being perfectly OK snoozing in a dog bed. She gets along amazingly well with cats and other dogs of all sizes. While Cocoa has plenty of vision to get by, she does have some vision loss. Her adoptive home will need to be mindful of this to ensure she does not take a tumble or have screens or gates to bump into.

This sweet girl came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services, where she arrived as a stray. They knew a senior focused rescue would be the perfect place to help her find her forever family.
