Meet Spork! This sweet little Granny is simply irresistible! Now in her golden years, she has absolutely perfected the art of gazing at you with her big puppy dog eyes politely asking for treats -- irresistible! Furthermore, she sports the softest, most beautiful silver curls that are enticing everyone to pet her. This alluring charm has not been lost on her foster family, but they are more than happy to show her the good life she so much deserves. Granny's ideal day includes a leisurely stroll through the yard, a soft blanket in her bed for a long nap, and a human who will exclaim that she is 'the cutest thing ever' at least five times a day. Don't let her age fool you -- she has plenty of pep in her step when it's time for a snack run! This indoor enthusiast is a delightful companion who will make you laugh by putting on a show with her quirky displays.
If you have been searching for a perfectly-sized, silky-soft, and charming comedian, Granny is ready to serve up joy with a side of adorable attitude! Extra bonus: she gets along splendidly with other dogs, with cats, and gentle children. While overall in good shape, she will require daily medication for Cushing's disease and liver support, as well as ample reminders for potty breaks. Since joining POMDR, she has been receiving all the TLC she desperately needed and is feeling much better than when she first arrived.
This sweet lady joined us from San Jose Animal Care Center and Services, who thought she would shine best in a senior-focused rescue.
