Meet Barnacle, a gentle and loving lad with a heart as big as the ocean. This handsome boy may be blind, but he doesn't let that stop him from enjoying life and soaking up affection from the people around him. Barnacle is a truly nice boy who thrives on kindness, patience, and companionship. His blindness means he'll need a little extra guidance at first, things like keeping furniture in consistent places, using verbal cues, and helping him learn new spaces, but in return you'll gain an incredibly loyal and trusting companion.
He enjoys calm environments, soft beds, and gentle walks where he can explore the world through his nose and ears. Barnacle would do best with an adopter who is willing to give him a bit of extra support and understanding as he settles into a new home. Barnacle joins us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after he was found as a stray.
