Meet Mia, a gentle soul with a heart full of potential. Mia is a young dog who's still learning how to feel safe and confident in the world. She didn't get much socialization early in life, so new people and unfamiliar situations can be a bit overwhelming for her. Because of this, Mia is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to blossom at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, Mia shows her sweet and loyal nature. She does well with other dogs and would likely benefit from having a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. She's not the kind of dog who wants to go everywhere and meet everyone, Mia is much more of a homebody who prefers the comfort of a familiar environment.

Mia will thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can relax and explore safely. Her ideal adopter is someone committed to continuing her training and building her confidence through positive reinforcement, patience, and consistency.
