If dogs could give hugs without wrapping their paws around you, that would be Lula. This beautiful senior lady has the kindest eyes and the sweetest soul. She's not looking for mountain hikes or marathon adventures these days. She's much more interested in sharing a peaceful afternoon by your side, soaking up gentle pets and simply enjoying your company. Lula has a wonderfully calming presence that makes everything feel just a little quieter and a little brighter.

Lula previously lived with children and naturally gravitates toward them, happily keeping watch like the gentle babysitter she was always meant to be. She's also a wonderful companion to other dogs, does well with cats, and has lovely manners on leash, making neighborhood strolls a relaxing treat. Lula is hoping to find a home that matches her easygoing spirit, a family that appreciates slow mornings, cozy evenings, and the quiet comfort of having a loyal best friend always nearby. She doesn't ask for much, just a soft place to rest, a few kind words, and plenty of loving scratches.

Lula was a frequent flyer at a local shelter after repeatedly being found wandering the streets. Sadly, after this past trip, her family decided that it was best for Lula to find another landing spot. We took her into our program and we're excited to see what this next chapter has in store for sweet Lula.
