Praline is a lovely senior Poodle with a heart as soft as her curls. Sweet, gentle, and endlessly kind, she's the kind of companion who is happiest simply being near the people she loves. This precious girl is looking for a quiet, peaceful home where she can enjoy the slower pace of life. A calm environment with cozy beds, tasty treats, and plenty of affection would be her dream come true.

She is happy to meet other dogs, but prefers that they give her a little space, and may ask them to back away if they're too much. She has lived with other dogs and does warm up, even sharing a bed with dogs much larger than her! She would do best with calm dogs that respect her space, speed, and size.

She is a sensitive soul, so children should be calm and gentle with her. Want a car ride companion? She will be admiring the sights out the window or snoozing in her seat. Potty training? She has figured it out! If the door is open, she will walk out to do her business, then come right back in. If the door is closed? She will calmly let you know she needs to go out!

Feeding time perks her right up, and she will twirl on her back feet with joy. For bedtime, she will be under the blankets snuggled up to your side. Praline would do well in a quiet home with no stairs. She would prefer to have you around much of the day.

Praline joined us from Santa Cruz County Animal Services after she was found as a stray. Due to her senior status and her need for medical attention, they reached out to find her the perfect retirement home.
