Nisha Addleman
Behavior Coordinator
She grew up with rescued dogs and cats and has a passion for helping animals in need. In fact, she never had a non-rescued animal until she got Raisin, her service dog, in 2024. She joined the POMDR staff in April 2026.
Before joining POMDR, Nisha worked at Monkey Tail Ranch, training service dogs and therapy dogs for various facilities such as schools and courtrooms. She also led group training and helped with individual training.
Nisha is currently working on attaining her CPDT-KSA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge and Skills Assessed) and hopes to finish it by the end of the year. She is also actively working on several college degrees. Next month she will have earned Associate's degrees in Psychology and Creative Writing at Monterey Peninsula College. In the fall, she will begin studies at Arizona State University (online) for her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and will start their accelerated Master's program in Psychology with a focus on research.
